This article walks you through two separate processes within the CareCar Member Portal:
- Booking a new reservation
- Rebooking a past reservation

How to Book a New Reservation
Follow these steps if you're scheduling a new trip through the CareCar Member Portal.
Step 1: Log into the Member Portal
Visit https://members.getcarecar.com
Enter your login credentials and click Log In.
Step 2: Click “Book a Ride”
Once logged in, select “Book a Ride” from the main dashboard.
Step 3: Enter Your Trip Details
Choose the date of your appointment using the calendar.
Select the time of your appointment from the time field below the calendar.
Step 4: Select Your Pickup and Drop-Off
Confirm or enter your pickup address.
Confirm or enter your destination address.
Step 5: Enter Purpose and Level of Service
Select the purpose of your trip (e.g., doctor’s appointment, dialysis, etc.).
Choose your Level of Service (e.g., curb-to-curb, door-to-door, wheelchair accessible).
Step 6: Review and Confirm Pickup Time
The system will suggest a pickup time based on your appointment time.
If needed, manually enter a different pickup time.
Step 7: Review Your Reservation
Click “Preview my reservation” to view a summary of the trip.
Make any edits as needed.
Step 8: Submit Your Ride Request
Once everything is correct, click “Submit” or “Confirm” to schedule your ride.
How to Rebook a Reservation
Follow these steps if you want to schedule a new ride using the details from a previous trip.
Step 1: Locate the Ride to Rebook
From your trip history or dashboard, find the ride you want to rebook.
Click the “Rebook” button next to that ride.
Step 2: Review Auto-Populated Trip Details
The system will load a new reservation using the previous trip’s info.
Pickup and drop-off addresses, purpose, and level of service will be copied over.
Step 3: Enter the New Appointment Date & Time
Use the calendar to select the new appointment date.
Enter the appointment time in the time field.
Step 4: Confirm or Adjust Pickup Time
The system will suggest a new pickup time based on the new appointment.
You can manually override the time if needed.
Step 5: Update Level of Service or Purpose (If Needed)
If your Level of Service or Trip Purpose has changed, update those fields.
Step 6: Confirm Time Selection
After selecting date and time, click the ✔️ checkmark next to the time field to lock in your pickup time.
Step 7: Preview Your Reservation
Click “Preview my reservation” to review the trip summary.
Step 8: Confirm and Submit
Make any necessary edits.
Click “Confirm” to rebook your ride.
