Overview
This guide explains how to update the status of a task in the CareCar Provider Portal.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Log In to CareCar HQ
- Go to hq.carecar.co.
- Enter your email and password.
- Click Log In.
2. Navigate to the Tasks Section
- Click on the Tasks tab in the left-hand navigation menu.
- Locate the task you need to update.
3. Open the Task Details
- Click on the Details button of the task you want to update
- Review the trip information before making updates.
4. Update the Task Status
In the task details, there are task status update options:
- En Route to Pickup- Driver is on the way to the pickup location.

Can't Complete- Select the reason for cancelling the task:
- Provider Cancellation (Unable to complete)
- Member Cancellation
- Member No-Show
- Status updates available after En Route to Pickup include:
- Arrived at Pickup – Driver has reached the pickup location.
- En Route to Dropoff – Member has been picked up and is on the way to the drop-off location.
- Completed – The trip has been successfully completed. This status must be completed to get paid. The completion timestamp is logged for invoicing.
5. Time Status Updates
Status updates should be done in real time.
- After selecting the appropriate status update, confirm the time of status change
- Now
- Custom time- if the status change occurred at a different time and needs to be updated:
- Click Custom Time
- Select the correct date and time
- Select the appropriate timezone
5. Verify the Status Update
- Once the status is updated, click Confirm
- Ensure that updates are made in real-time for accurate trip tracking.
